Term One

At Sacred Heart currently we are using Gwen Gawiths 'Action Learning/Information Literacy' model of Inquiry. Our aim is to use this model of Inquiry to establish a process that allows our students to manage information in a discerning way. We also want our students to recognise the purpose in what they are learning, the relevance. Through this model we will help students develop a tool kit to help their learning - skills as well as a format/process.

We believe that this direction will allow students to have a more active role in thier learning, being flexible enough to meet the individual learning styles and abilities.
